Located high in the hills northwest of Lucca, affording privacy and commanding views of the plains of Lucca. The spacious interiors of this large farmhouse were beautifully redecorated in 2001. The new furnishings combine great taste and beauty, and include Lucchese antiques. The kitchen was also completely redone.

The living room and dining room have doors to the well-planted garden and two outdoor dining areas, a grape arbor and a covered loggia. There is a powder room on the first floor.

The huge master bedroom and one of the twin bedrooms has a private terrace and ensuite bathroom. One double bedroom and a single bedroom each have an ensuite bathroom; a twin bedroom and a single bedroom (with a sofa bed) share a bathroom.

The swimming pool (40x18 feet), just steps below the house, is surrounded by olive trees and enjoys stunning views.

Maid service is included in the price 9 hours per week, and additional maid service and a cook are available on request for an extra charge. The caretakers live in an independent apartment at the back of the house.

Al Palazzaccio has a telephone, washing machine, clothes dryer, satellite TV, VCR, stereo/CD player, fax machine, dishwasher, a barbeque, and independent heating.
