Apartment Via Veneto #2 is on the second floor (elevator in building) of a building just steps away from the world famous Via Veneto, with its outdoor cafes and proximity to the Borghese Gardens. Close to the American Embassy, the apartment is located between Via Veneto and the Spanish Steps, in one of the most fashionable neighborhoods of Rome. Most of the major sights are within walking distance from the apartment, and it is convenient to public transportation, with a subway station a short walk from the apartment.

The apartment is cozy, and has features that appeal to a Rome visitor. The furnishings are comfortable and pleasing to the eye, with bright colors and nice fabrics, and include oriental rugs on the wood parquet floors. The walls are filled with paintings, and a lot of light enters the rooms through tall windows facing the building courtyard. The apartment is very quiet, out of range of Rome’s noisy streets.

The long entrance hall, lined with colorful folk art paintings, is a very welcoming space. The double bedroom has a queen-sized bed and some easy chairs. The main living/dining area has a granite-topped table for dining. There are two large comfortable easy chairs, and a TV with Italian programs. One part of this area holds a small kitchen corner with a 4- burner cook top and stainless steel sink. The apartment is well equipped with glasses, plates and cutlery for several people.

The bathroom is off the living/dining area.  It includes a large built-in shower and good lighting.The apartment is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, American coffee pot, TV (Italian), hairdryer, and independent heating.

The owner of Apartment Via Veneto #2 speaks excellent English, and lives in the same building. As a long-time resident of Rome, she is available to assist guests with sightseeing and shopping suggestions, but will not intrude on guests’ privacy. The owner will also entertain offers for long-term rentals upon request. Short-term rentals with a minimum of 4 days can also be arranged.
