Apartment Vittorio is a large and well-decorated apartment in the historic center of Rome, on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori are close by, and the Pantheon, St. Peter's and Castel Sant'Angelo are a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is on the fifth floor of an 18th century building with an elevator, and is very well insulated from the noise of Rome's streets.
The interior design of Apartment Vittorio is elegant, with large oil paintings, oriental rugs, wood parquet floors, and antique furniture throughout. Tall windows and doors let in a lot of light. The entrance hall is large, with walls lined with wood bookcases, frescos, and a marble floor. One of the two bathrooms is in this area; it has a bathtub with a shower fixture.
From the entrance hall, there are a couple of steps leading into a very large living room, which has a fresco on the ceiling, a commanding oil painting and wood parquet floors. The living room is also filled with built-in bookcases, sofas, arm chairs and carved wood furniture. There is a door to the terrace from this room.
The master bedroom, with a queen-size bed and a large wardrobe, is accessed from the living room. A large window in the room makes this also a light-filled space. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower.
The dining room is next to the living room and also faces the terrace, with a door to the outside. The dining room seats six. Part of the room includes two open shelves decorated with porcelain and antique pieces. In one part of the room there is an informal sitting area with a small sofa bed (for one person) and a TV. The small kitchen is next to the TV area, and also has a large window facing the terrace.
In the dining area, there is a short set of stairs without a railing that lead to a loft area. In this space there is a wide but short single bed mattress on a concrete base and several windows. Either the sofa bed in the TV area or the mattress in the loft can be used for a third person at an additional cost.
Apartment Vittorio is equipped with a telephone, TV (Italian), washing machine, dishwasher, stove-top/oven, microwave oven, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, air conditioning and heating. The weekly rental price does not include electricity costs, which are based on consumption and varies if there are two or three people. There is a 20% surcharge for Easter and Christmas/New Year's rentals.
The terrace is a special feature of the apartment. It is furnished with a dining table and chairs, and a big umbrella, along with plants. There are views of the roofs of Rome and the Gianicolo Hill.
