Bottino is a very attractive country-style property located between Lucca and the Versilian coast. The property has historic origins, and the restoration retained original materials. It is made up of a farmhouse and a barn close to each other, allowing two groups to stay together while maintaining some independence. The furnishings have a lovely country feel and are very tasteful and comfortable.

The first floor of the Main House has a very spacious sitting room with a fireplace. The dining area has doors to the outside grounds. There is also a kitchen on this floor. The bedrooms are on the second floor and all have ensuite bathrooms. Some double bedrooms can become twins.

The Barn, located next to the main house, has a breakfast room and small kitchen on the first floor which opens to the outside by the swimming pool. There is a sitting room with an antique terracotta stove on the second floor. Both bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are on the second floor.

Bottino has a lovely terraced garden surrounded by an olive grove, providing a furnished area for outdoor meals or relaxing. From the pool there are incredible views of the surrounding hills. The property is near both the Apennines and the Apuan Alps, and is an excellent location for hikes or walks in the countryside.

Bottino is located just over two miles from the village of San Martino in Freddana. Lucca is about 9 miles away, and the beaches at Versilia are about 12 miles away. Florence is 45 miles away by highway and can be reached in about an hour.

Maid service is included 3 hours a day, 3 days a week.
