Broccolo is a cheerful, stone farmhouse located just 7 miles from the beautiful city of Lucca. It has been restored using authentic Tuscan crafted materials to maintain the original character of the home. Terracotta tiles, antique wood beams, hand-made wood floors, and exposed brick work lend lots of charm to this comfortable home.

The cozy living room has a corner stone fireplace and comfortable, country-style furnishings. The bright kitchen is quaint and newly redone, and is supplied with new appliances and all the needed equipment for preparing fresh Tuscan fare. The kitchen offers a rustic wooden table and chairs for casual dining. On the main floor there is also a full bathroom with a shower.

All the bedrooms are sunny and welcoming. One double bedroom (can be a double or a twin) and bathroom with a shower are separated from the others on the lower floor, while upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. There is also a small terrace affording views of the beautiful countryside.

The house is surrounded by a spacious, verdant garden, which is ringed by mature trees and has a fence around the property. There is plenty of room for kids to roam safely. A furnished, covered veranda is perfect for al fresco dining and enjoying the peacefulness of the country setting. A wood-fired barbecue and pizza oven near a second outdoor patio, compliment the outdoor space. Below the house, and a good distance from it, there is a large welcoming swimming pool rimmed with cooling grass. Plenty of lounge chairs are provided.

Broccolo is just 4 miles from the town of Capannori, which hosts a variety of shops and restaurants as well as some splendid Renaissance villas. The marvelous city of Lucca is a terrific place to explore, and the other charming places in Tuscany are within easy reach. Broccolo is conveniently located close to a highway entrance. The drive to Florence is under an hour, and Pisa and the beaches are half an hour away.

Maid service is included for 6 hours per week.
