Buonvisi is an exquisitely restored villa dating back to the 16th century. The villa is surrounded on three sides by a large garden with several shaded areas and beautiful views of Lucca. It is located on an estate that produces high quality olive oil.

The villa has been carefully restored to maintain its original character. The ancient cotto floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and old fireplaces have been preserved. The rooms are spacious, well-lit, and elegantly furnished with antiques. Each of the seven bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. There is a double bedroom on the first floor.

The swimming pool is located in front of the house and provides splendid views of Lucca. A tennis court is also available on the estate.

Maid service is included in the price for 4 hours per day, 5 days per week for general cleaning and laundry for the guests. Extra cooking and cleaning are available on request for an extra charge. The cook prepares excellent local Tuscan dishes. The villa is equipped with satellite TV, VCR, hi-fi system, and a washing machine.

The estate office, with English speaking staff, is at the disposal of Buonvisi’s guests. There is a fax machine in the office.
