Casa Bini consists of two newly restored 17th century farmhouses on a small hill with lovely views overlooking the countryside, about 1 ½ miles from a village and the main road. One farmhouse has Apartments 1 and 2; Apartment 3 is a separate building, about 100 feet away. Casa Bini is located just outside the Chianti region, west of Florence near the towns of Castelfiorentino and San Miniato. Florence is 30 minutes by car, and Siena is less than an hour away. Pisa is 45 minutes away, the seaside can be reached in under an hour, and Lucca is 45 miles away.

The restoration was undertaken with great elegance and beauty, and the original terra cotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and stone walls have been preserved as much as possible. The rooms are unusually spacious, with tall ceilings and many large windows.

Every bedroom has its own bathroom. The furnishings are very tastefully done and with high quality. There are antiques throughout, including a number of interesting folk art pieces and furniture. The kitchens have dishwashers and each property has a washing machine, satellite TV, window screens, hair dryers and heating. Maid service and a cook are available upon request.

Casa Bini is ideal for large groups. The farmhouse with two apartments can be rented for 14 people, or for 22 when combined with the independent farmhouse. An additional two people can be added on a sofa bed, bringing the total to 18 or 26. There is an extra charge for use of the sofabeds.
