Casa Mazzoli is a restored, traditional-style stone Chianti farmhouse located approximately three kilometers (two miles) from the village of Panzano. This property was built on the foundations of an ancient olive mill and has a distinctly rustic feel. Panzano has several restaurants, wine bars and shops, and has an open-air market every Sunday morning. The market town of Greve is less than fifteen minutes away, while Florence and Siena are both within a forty-minute drive.

Casa Mazzoli is reached by a well-maintained gravel road that winds its way through picturesque vineyards. The house is situated in a small valley in close proximity to both vineyards and woods, and offers many opportunities for biking and walking.

Casa Mazzoli is furnished in a pleasant country style, with original cotto floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and stone arches. Many rooms have direct access to the garden.The entrance of the house opens into a spacious eat-in kitchen with a large open fireplace. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. To the left of the kitchen is a small room with a working fireplace that can serve as a study or a children’s playroom. To the right of the kitchen, there is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower and a washing machine. Up a few steps from this area, there is an alcove with a single bed. Passing through the alcove, there is a large double bedroom with a queen size bed.

From the kitchen, steps lead down to a dining room furnished with lovely antique pieces with a door that leads to the garden. Beyond the dining room, there is a double living room with a stone archway. The living room has a TV with satellite connection, a game table, and a door to the garden.

Upstairs there are five bedrooms, all with double beds. Three of these bedrooms can be converted into twin bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and the two other bedrooms share a bathroom.

Outside the farmhouse, there is a large patio for dining with a wood burning pizza oven. A short walk from the farmhouse leads to the private pool, which is set in a well-maintained garden and is deep enough for diving.
