This very beautiful stone farmhouse is located in a quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, which produces wine and olive oil. The farmhouse was completely restored in 2005 while maintaining typical Tuscan traditions. There is a full-time staff to care for the house and prepare meals for the guests. The furnishings are elegant and tasteful, and have a luxurious feel.

The farmhouse accommodates eight guests. On the first floor of the main house is a spacious living room with a fireplace, and a dining room. A kitchen opens onto a covered terrace, furnished for al fresco dining, which has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The twin bedrooms and a double bedroom are on the second floor and all have ensuite bathrooms. An additional double bedroom with ensuite bathroom is located in the tower.

A staff provides maid service and meal preparation (breakfast and another meal) eight hours a day, 5 days a week. The estate staff speaks English and can organize cooking lessons and visits to the wine cellars. There is a tennis court on the estate property.

In Volpaia there is a food store and a restaurant, so it is possible to buy local products and taste local cuisine. The village of Volpaia is just over a mile away from the property. Casavecchia Volpaia is located about 4.5 miles from Radda in Chianti, the nearest Chianti town with shops and a bank. Siena is about 25 miles away and Florence is a 45 minute drive.
