This very beautiful and high-level property is located in a quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, which produces wine and olive oil. The main Farmhouse accommodates eight guests, and a Dependance sleeps four guests. There is a full-time staff to care for the house and prepare meals for the guests. The furnishings are elegant and tasteful, and have a luxurious feel.

The farmhouse was completely restored in 2005 while maintaining typical Tuscan traditions. On the first floor is a spacious living room with a fireplace, and a dining room. A kitchen opens onto a covered terrace, furnished for al fresco dining, which has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The twin bedrooms and a double bedroom are on the second floor and all have ensuite bathrooms. An additional double bedroom with ensuite bathroom is located in the tower.

The former stables were converted in 2008 into a Dependance, which is just across a courtyard from the main house. Both bedrooms can be either double or twin bedrooms, and have screens on the windows. The two bathrooms are done in marble, as in the main house. A comfortable living room with a fireplace is a wonderful gathering place.

A staff provides maid service and meal preparation (breakfast and another meal) eight hours a day, 5 days a week. The estate staff speaks English and can organize cooking lessons and visits to the wine cellars. There is a tennis court on the estate property. The villa has WiFi Intenet access.

The hamlet of Volpaia is just over a mile away from the property, and has two restaurants. Casavecchia Volpaia is located about 4.5 miles from Radda in Chianti, the nearest Chianti town with shops and a bank. Siena is about 25 miles away and Florence is a 45 minute drive.
