Damiano is a lovely farmhouse situated high in the hills between Lucca and the Versilian coast.  The house was restored with special attention to the Tuscan tradition, retaining the original beamed ceilings and using only antique cotto floor tiles, while also adding modern comforts.  Each bedroom has its own bathroom

On the first floor of Damiano, there is a comfortable living room with a fireplace and a cozy dining room.  The kitchen, with an open fireplace and original wood stove, open onto a nicely furnished veranda and well kept garden.  The patio has a table and chairs, providing a beautiful setting for dining “al fresco.”  One of the twin bedrooms is also on the first floor and it has an ensuite bathroom.  On the lower ground floor there is another twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that is only accessible from the garden.  The laundry room is also on the lower ground floor.

On the second floor, there is a master bedroom with a four-poster bed and ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower.  Another double bedroom is also on this floor with an ensuite bathroom.  A twin bedroom with its own bathroom is also on this floor.  The pool is in a panoramic position on a level above the farmhouse.  Maid service is included 9 hours a week. 
 
The location of the property, surrounded by olive groves, is both tranquil and beautiful with magnificent views.  Despite its private and quiet position, it is only a 15-minute drive to the center of the historic town of Lucca and 25 minutes to the coast and beaches.  Damiano is a wonderful setting to enjoy an Italian vacation.
