Il Fiocco is a delightful independent farmhouse that was built in 1592. It is in a wonderful position on the outskirts of a small Chianti village, and has a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. Radda in Chianti is 6 miles away, and Siena is about 11 miles away. Horseback riding is available nearby.

Guests are in walking distance of two restaurants in the village and a very small food shop. There are basic food shops in Lecchi, and all items needed can be found in the larger towns of Radda and Gaiole.

The property is partially fenced in and offers private parking, furnished garden spaces and a delightful paved terrace in front of the house. There is a woodburning oven for baking bread and pizza on the side of the house, a brick barbeque, and a large covered and furnished terrace in the rear next to the 18x36 swimming pool.

Il Fiocco is very comfortably furnished in good taste and respects the typical Tuscan architecture with woodbeamed ceilings, cotto floors, and walls that are either whitewashed or with stone. There are several antique pieces in the house. It is an ideal honeymoon house.

The living room/dining room, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower and the kitchen are on the first floor. The eat-in kitchen has a gas range, electric oven, toaster and fridge with freezer. A cozy bedroom with a French bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower are at the top of a staircase (no door) on the second floor.

Il Fiocco has a washing machine, satellite TV and stereo with CD. Central heating, wood for the fireplace, and electricity for the lights and oven are not included in the price and are payable on consumption.
