This farmhouse is located on an estate producing high quality olive oil. The house dates back to the 17th Century when it served as the home of the estate manager. Il Leccio is situated on top of a hill, with magnificent views over the plain of Lucca.

The property has been tastefully converted into a high-standard villa with pretty country-style bedrooms on different levels, modern bathrooms, and a large kitchen. The large living room and smaller sitting room each have fireplaces. The living room and TV room open onto the garden.

The swimming pool (42x21 feet) is about 475 feet from the farmhouse in a breathtaking position that provides fabulous views. A kitchenette and bathroom are in a small building in the pool area. Pool towels are provided. There is a tennis court on the estate.

Maid service is included in the price 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, for general cleaning and laundry for the guests. Extra cooking and cleaning are available on request for an extra charge. The cook prepares excellent local Tuscan dishes.

The estate office with English speaking staff, is at the disposal of Il Leccio’s guests. There is a fax machine in the office.

Il Leccio has a telephone, washing machine, dishwasher, satellite TV, VCR, stereo/CD player, barbeque, and independent heating.
