This extraordinary farmhouse is located on the Argiano estate, one of the most famous wine producers of the Montalcino area. Views from the farmhouse span across the Montalcino vineyards all the way to Mount Amiata. Lambertino’s owner also owns the Castle of Argiano, located on the estate.
Lambertino has a distinctive U-shaped interior that develops around a central patio. The farmhouse was restructured in 2004 while maintaining its original features, and the wood beamed ceilings and terracotta floors have been carefully preserved. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished with antique pieces from the castle. Lambertino’s architecture allows two families or groups of adults to share the farmhouse while each maintaining their privacy.
Located on the ground floor are a large living/dining room with fireplace, a kitchen, a second smaller kitchen, a separate dining room, and a sitting room. All of these rooms open onto the courtyard. Additionally, there are two twin bedrooms that share a bathroom.
On the second floor there are four double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There are also two sitting rooms and a living room.
The large swimming pool (23x46 ft.) is situated in a panoramic position in the well-maintained garden overlooking the countryside. Tours of the Argiano winery can be arranged for guests.
A live-in couple provide maid and cooking service for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, which is included in the rental price. They live in a separate apartment at the rear of the farmhouse.
Lambertino is not available in Low Season.
