This beautiful property is an old stone-built farm house dating from 1800s that has been totally restored using authentic materials, such as wood beam ceilings, terracotta floors and exposed brick arches.

The interiors are very spacious and furnished with a combination of antique and ethnic furniture from Tuscany and from the owner’s world travels. It is filled with antiques and oriental rugs. The house is situated in a very panoramic position, with stunning views.

The first floor rooms-- the living room with fireplace, large kitchen, dining room, and big study- -all open through French doors to the front garden and vine-covered pergola. The pergola is ideal for al fresco meals as it faces the views. There are also two powder rooms and a single bedroom with a bathroom.

The second floor contains 3 twin bedrooms, a single bedroom and two bathrooms with showers. The master double bedroom has its own sitting room, dressing room and ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. This room can be reached by an independent inside staircase. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan.

The extensive gardens are very well maintained. There is a covered area by the swimming pool (20x20 feet), which is situated to take advantage of the fabulous views.

La Polla Acetosa is located in Umbria, about two miles from the village of Ficulle and not far from the entrance to the Autostrada. It is close to the southern part of Tuscany, and the towns of Cetona and San Casciano dei Bagni.

Maid service is included in the price 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Additional maid service and a cook are available for an extra charge. The house has a telephone, washing machine, dishwasher, TV (Italian), stereo/CD player and independent heating.
