This charming independent apartment is located in a small hamlet in the countryside near Castellina in Chianti. The location is peaceful and enjoys spectacular views over the surrounding Chianti countryside. The apartment is luminous and well furnished with several antique pieces. Typical Tuscan architecture is seen in the cotto floors, whitewashed walls and wood-beam ceilings.

Access to the apartment is through a large furnished garden with an extensive lawn, shade trees and a laurel hedge that provides complete privacy. There is a large terrace in front of the apartment and a covered loggia along the side, both furnished for al fresco dining.

The spacious living/dining room is up one step from the loggia and has panoramic windows overlooking the valleys below. The kitchenette is not large but is well-organized and complete with gas range, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. An open arch in the living room leads down a hallway to the bedrooms and bathroom. One double bedroom has a door to the loggia. The other bedroom can be made into a twin bedroom.

The apartment has access to a large shared swimming pool. Public tennis courts are available in Castellina in Chianti, 5.5 miles away. Siena is just over 9 miles away, and Florence is 37 miles away.

The apartment is equipped with central gas heating at an extra charge. Maid service is available on request.
