This stunning property is located in an exceptionally panoramic position among olive groves in the hills between Lucca and the Versilia coast. Formerly an olive mill and barn, these two buildings were carefully restored in 2004 and are now connected by a large entrance hall and upper terrace. Traditional materials, such as hand-made cotto floors and wood beam ceilings, were used in the restoration. The interiors are tastefully furnished in a country yet elegant style, and the house is equipped with all modern facilities.

The first floor has an entrance hall and a large sitting room with a fireplace and French windows that open onto the terrace and garden. A very large kitchen with a dining area opens onto a furnished terrace with pergola, perfect for al fresco dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with top-level appliances. A twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom opens onto the garden.

The remaining bedrooms are located on the second floor, and each has an ensuite bathroom. There is also a sitting room with a fireplace that opens onto a terrace with pergola. The terraces all have wonderful views.

La Sorgente is located about 3 miles from San Martino in Freddana, the nearest village with shops. Lucca is about seven miles away, and the Versilia beaches are about 15.5 miles away.
