Restored in 2003, Le Cannelle is an independent house set on a hillside with wonderful views very close to the town of Radda in Chianti, which has all facilities, shops and restaurants. Castellina in Chianti is 8.5 miles away, and Montevarchi—with access to the A1 Autostrada—is 14 miles away. The drive to Florence is around 45 minutes, and the drive to Siena is about 35 minutes on local roads. It is an ideal house for couples traveling together or for a family.

The house is fresh, luminous, and very comfortably furnished. There is an entrance from the upper terrace into a double bedroom (helpful for people in wheelchairs) and the spacious living room with satellite TV, stereo with CD player, and fireplace. A beautiful open brick archway separates the living room from the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are all accessed from one hallway. One double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The other double bedroom and twin bedroom each have a bathroom, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub.

The grounds surrounding the house are well kept and offer sunny and shaded areas. The private above ground swimming pool (13.5x27 feet; no diving) is set against the hillside and has a furnished terrace on one side. The separate upper terrace is very large and fully furnished for eating and relaxing, and has a barbecue and woodburning oven for baking bread and pizza. There is also a separate entrance up a flight of stairs from the parking area. Le Cannelle has a washing machine in a utilities room.
