Le Diacce is a small private hamlet made up of a large 18th century stone farmhouse and its outbuildings, which were restored in 2000. It is located about 4 miles from Gaiole in Chianti, 6 miles from Radda in Chianti. Florence is 30 miles away, and Siena is 22 miles away.

The property is on top of a hill about 2000 feet above sea level, and has spectacular views of the surrounding hillsides covered with vineyards, olive groves and woods. Siena can be seen in the distance.

The hamlet has a Main House for 10 people in two apartments (6, 4) that are connected by an internal door. One outbuilding has a bedroom and bathroom (the Dependance). There is a separate building, Diaccino, which sleeps 2. The owner prefers to rent the entire property together, but will consider renting the units separately. If rented together for 14, there is ample space for everyone to dine together.

Le Diacce has been tastefully decorated with antique pieces and a lovely sense of flair in the interior design. The furniture is very comfortable and in keeping with the rustic character of the original farmhouses. A lot of light comes in through the windows.

The appliances are new and include a dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer and washing machine. The farmhouses have satellite TV, wall safes and a telephone. The swimming pool is 20 x 40 feet, and has wonderful views.
