Le Rondini is located in a quiet area of Tuscany, to the west of Florence, and provides an excellent base for touring the region. It was restored to a very high standard; the original country style was preserved with its wood beam ceilings and original cotto floors, and it is furnished with some antiques. The interior decoration is done in soft traditional Tuscan colors, and the overall feeling is one of excellent taste. The property has lovely grounds and a particularly spectacular swimming pool. All the bedrooms have air conditioning.

The entrance is up a set of outside stairs, which lead to a front covered terrace furnished for al fresco dining. A sitting room with a fireplace opens to a covered terrace in the rear. The well-equipped modern kitchen and dining room are on this level. There is also a single bedroom and bathroom with a shower.

All other bedrooms are on the second floor, two double bedrooms have four poster beds and ensuite bathrooms. There are also two twin bedrooms and an additional bathroom.

The villa is well equipped with a stereo system, fax machine, and satellite TV. Maid service is included 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. There are resident cats in the neighborhood.

Le Rondini is a good base to explore Tuscany as it is only 6 miles from the highway connecting Pisa to Florence.
