This beautiful red brick farmhouse is situated in a panoramic position dominating the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The farmhouse was completely restored in 1999, adding all modern amenities while maintaining its original structure. The impeccable furnishings are in the typical Tuscan style and include several antique pieces.

Olivastro’s rooms are luminous and comfortable. An open courtyard brings guests into a magnificent entrance hall, with vaulted ceiling and the typical cotto floor that extends throughout the farmhouse. There is an elegant living room with fireplace, and an open archway leads from here into the formal dining room. Located off the dining room is the sitting room with satellite TV, stereo with CD player, and DVD player, and a door leads out to the garden and swimming pool. A twin bedroom and a bathroom are also located on this floor.

Stairs lead up to the spacious second floor living/dining room with fireplace. A hallway leads to the master bedroom suite with a sitting room and a separate bathroom. Another hallway off the living room leads to the double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub.

The swimming pool is surrounded by a patio with furniture for sunbathing and relaxing, and by the well-maintained gardens. A rustic covered terrace, perfect for alfresco dining, is located off the courtyard.

Maid service is included for 3 hours daily at an additional cost. There is a washing machine and a telephone in the farmhouse.

Olivastro is located a couple of miles from shops and restaurants. Montalcino is about 8 miles away, and Siena is about 15 miles away. There are golf courses located one hour’s drive from the farmhouse.
