Podere Serravalle is a beautiful 14th century farmhouse located on a farming estate. The farmhouse is in a panoramic hilltop position overlooking the soft hills of the Arbia river valley, and its surrounding grounds are fenced-in to give maximum privacy.

This house offers all modern amenities, including air-conditioning on the second floor, while antique pieces, wood-beam ceilings, brickwork and the cotto floors help maintain a more traditional feel. All the kitchen and bathroom tiles are decorated by hand. The farmhouse is decorated with impeccable taste.

The spacious, luminous living/dining room is divided into sections by large brick arches. A fireplace, satellite TV, and DVD player are located in the middle section. A door off the dining room leads to the well-equipped kitchen with travertine work surfaces. An open brick arch creates a delightful informal dining area on one side. Panoramic glass doors in the living and dining rooms and the kitchen open to the lawns and terrace.

All five bedrooms are located on the second floor and are air conditioned. There are four bathrooms on this floor; one is ensuite in a double bedroom. There is an antique terracotta fireplace in one of the double bedrooms.

The covered, furnished terrace provides a relaxing alfresco dining area. It looks out onto the well-kept lawn and private swimming pool. There is a small structure next to the house with a barbeque and a wood oven for baking bread and pizza. Guests also have access to the tennis court located on the estate.

Maid service is included in the price for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. There is a washing machine, clothes dryer, and a telephone in the farmhouse.

Podere Seravalle is located a couple of miles from shops, restaurants, and facilities. Montalcino and Siena are not far away, and two golf courses are within a one-hour drive.
