San Gaetano apartment faces the spectacular façade of the Church of San Gaetano, from which it takes its name. It looks out on the Duomo (cathedral), Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the rooftops of the city. The apartment is in the Palazzo Rimbotti, a building that dates back to the 14th century and acquired its present day appearance around the mid-18th century.
An entrance hall opens to the living room and dining area, with two large windows overlooking the church. The room is elegantly furnished with two large sofas and armchairs, a settee, coffee table, and a fireplace with a marble frame and mantelpiece. The walls are adorned with pictures and prints individually chosen for the apartment. The antique dining table comfortably seats six.
A passage from the living room leads to two bedrooms, one double with a king-size bed and one twin. Both have spacious wardrobes and decorative prints on the walls. Opposite each bedroom is its respective bathroom, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. At the end of the hall is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a small table and chairs.
San Gaetano has air conditioning, satellite TV, a telephone, four-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and independent heating. The apartment is served by an elevator and has daytime porter service.
