Villa Casacce is a restored old Tuscan farmhouse that has a comfortable rustic feel. This family residence is well-equipped for easy, relaxed living. It is well located in the Chianti area, approximately halfway between Florence and Siena, each of which are about 30 minutes away. The villa is an ideal base for excursions to virtually all areas of the region.

The entrance is through a center hallway on the first floor. An internal stone staircase leads to the cozy second floor where all the rooms are located. The stairs lead to an open area; passing through stone arches this area leads to the living room with comfortable furniture and some antique pieces. At one end of the room near the kitchen there is a dining table that can seat eight people. The spacious country eat-in kitchen also has a table for eight. The luminous kitchen has a large, traditional fireplace with seats on the side where farmers sat to warm themselves on cold nights. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who like to cook, with attractive crockery and serving pieces.

A hall leads to the three bedrooms on this level. The master bedroom can be either a double or twin bedroom and is located next to a bathroom. There is a double bedroom that can be made into a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. They share a large bathroom with shower. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have windows to views.

From the lovely garden there are wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, clear across the Val d'Elsa. The towers of San Gimignano can be seen from one side of the garden. There are several outdoor dining areas, one under a vine-covered pergola and another under a retractable awning that provides shade when needed. The swimming pool is located beyond the garden, and pool furniture is provided.

The villa is equipped with a washing machine, modern kitchen appliances, cell phone, dishwasher, satellite TV, CD player, central heating, and an outdoor barbeque. The owner lives on the first floor and remains out of the way of the guests. An excellent cook is available for an extra charge.
