Villa Storica is widely considered as one of the most prominent villas in Tuscany. This luxury villa was built in the 18th century as a summer residence for the princes of the Ginori Conti family, and the family coat of arms and portraits still adorn the dining room walls. The villa is now owned by a well-known family of Italian wine producers.

The villa is four stories high. The first floor was renovated in 2007. A large and sunny double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a powder room and a laundry room were added. The kitchen was expanded and completely modernized. It has a breakfast table that seats 12, and an open, typically Tuscan fireplace. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, and has a wonderful, traditional ambience. A small sitting room is also on this floor. The second floor has a large living room with another traditional fireplace. This room opens onto a large vaulted terrace with furniture that offers fabulous views of the countryside. There is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a shower. A single bedroom uses a bathroom and shower down the hallway. The third floor has two twin bedrooms and one single bedroom, all with ensuite bathrooms. In the tower on the fourth floor, there is an air-conditioned twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

The beautiful private swimming pool is below the villa, accessed by stairs. There are wonderful views of the countryside from the pool area as well. There is a changing room, shower, and bathroom at the swimming pool.

The villa is located 2.5 miles from Radda in Chianti, 30 miles from Florence, and 18 miles from Siena. The villa is equipped with a telephone/fax, satellite TV, hairdryers, a dishwasher, and a CD player. Maid service is provided daily Monday through Saturday, and assistance is provided with breakfast.
