Apartment Via Veneto #1 is a spacious studio apartment on the second floor (there is an elevator) of a building that is just steps away from the world famous Via Veneto, with its outdoor cafes and proximity to the Borghese Gardens. Close to the American Embassy, the apartment is located between the Via Veneto and the Spanish Steps, in one of the most fashionable neighborhoods of Rome. Most of the major sights are within walking distance, and it is convenient to public transportation, with a subway station a short walk from the apartment.

The apartment is small but cozy, and offers the things that a traveler to Rome would seek out in a reasonably priced rental apartment. The furnishings are comfortable, and include several oriental rugs on the wood parquet floors. The ceilings are very high, and there are etchings and paintings on the walls. There are some architectural details that separate the two areas of this large space into a living/dining area and a bedroom area.

In the living room area, there is a sofa and some side chairs, several occasional tables and lamps, and a dining room table. In the bedroom area, the bed can be made up either as a King-size bed or two Twin beds. A window at one end of the apartment lets in light.

The small kitchen is in a separate room. The bathroom is off the kitchen, and was nicely restored in 2008. It includes a built-in shower and good lighting.

Apartment Via Veneto #1 is equipped with a fan, refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner cook top, microwave oven, TV (Italian), hairdryer, washing machine, and independent heating.

The owner of Apartment Via Veneto #1 speaks excellent English, and lives in the same building. As a long-time resident of Rome, she is available to assist guests with sightseeing and shopping suggestions, but will not intrude on guests' privacy.

The owner will make a computer available to guests at an office in the same building. For those interested in fitness, there is a gym across the street. Apartment Via Veneto #1 is a non-smoking apartment.
